Accessibility Statement

Conformance status

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as our design and testing target. Automated checks and scoped reviews do not establish full-site conformance or compliance with every requirement of eCH-0059, EN 301 549 or applicable accessibility law.

How we tested

Our recorded checks include axe-core scans, keyboard navigation, focus visibility, colour contrast, browser accessibility-tree inspection, text resizing and reflow on selected pages and journeys in English, German and French. The repository contains automated tests and AI-assisted inspections. Their coverage varies by release; they are not an independent human accessibility certification. A Lighthouse score alone does not establish accessibility.

Known limitations

• Testing with people who use assistive technology in daily life remains outstanding. Browser accessibility-tree inspection does not establish how every screen reader will announce or operate the site. We have not recorded an agreed completion date for this user testing.
• Article previews on listing pages are shortened to two or three lines. With very large custom text spacing the preview text can be cut off. The complete article text is always available on the article page itself.

Technical information

Conformance relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA. The native tools use accessible form controls and do not embed third-party assessment interfaces.
