Decision Lab privacy notice
You can play anonymously. Optional verified sharing remains unavailable while its privacy and provider review is completed. This notice describes the local game and the planned sharing service.
Play without an account or email. Your decisions and scores stay in your browser unless you choose to share a report with Ada. Starting and finishing a mission do not create attendance records.
Playing, testing and finishing a mission happen in your browser. Ada does not collect identifiable attendance or participation counts from the game. Email verification is requested only when you choose to share with Ada. It checks control of the sender address and helps prevent misuse of report delivery. Verification alone does not upload your report. The illustrated story automatically keeps its branch history in session storage for the current browser tab. Closing the tab ends that session; browser session restoration may restore it. This history stays separate from optional saved games and is not sent to Ada.
Voluntary reports are handled as enquiries under the site privacy notice and enquiry retention process. The optional follow-up choice starts unchecked and does not subscribe you to marketing. The sharing service’s processing assessment and provider arrangements must be finalised before it is activated.
Sharing sessions expire after 24 hours. A confirmed sharing attempt creates a delivery record that expires after 30 days. The dashboard excludes expired records immediately and hourly cleanup deletes them. Verification accounts older than 30 days are deleted when no unexpired delivery record remains. Device saving is optional and can be deleted independently.
The optional sharing and verification service uses short-lived email/IP identifiers and technical request metadata for security limits. Application security buckets expire within one day and are removed by cleanup. They do not contain gameplay. Ordinary hosting requests are covered by the site privacy notice.
Only confirmation sends this report and your verified email to contact@adastudio.ch. Shared reports enter the enquiry process and are kept until 90 days after closure, subject to documented legal exceptions. Provider and backup copies can outlast application deletion.
The planned sharing service uses Neon PostgreSQL in Frankfurt for verification and delivery records, Resend for email, Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse checks and Microsoft 365 for voluntarily shared enquiries. Vercel hosts the site. Administrator access uses Microsoft work accounts. Provider logs, recovery copies, backups, support access and international transfers have separate terms and retention. The actual Neon project and backup settings still need verification; application deletion does not promise immediate erasure from provider backups.
The controller is Ada Studio, identified in the site legal notice. Contact contact@adastudio.ch to request access, correction, deletion or to object where applicable. After email verification, the sharing panel offers deletion of verification and delivery records. Sending to Ada and requesting follow-up are voluntary and do not affect your ability to play.
