Decision Lab privacy notice
This notice covers the Decision Lab illustrated story. You can play it without an account or email address, and the story sends none of your choices to Ada Studio. The site privacy policy covers the rest of this website.
The story keeps your branch history and current view in session storage for the current browser tab, so you can continue after a reload. The story adds only the current scene and step to the page address, never your choices. Closing the tab ends that session, although browser session restoration may bring it back. Clearing site data removes it. You can refuse this storage by blocking site data in your browser settings; the story still works but cannot resume after a reload. People with access to the same browser session may see this progress.
Your choices stay in your browser. Opening the story’s pages and media creates ordinary requests to our hosting provider, which the site privacy policy describes. The story itself loads no third-party scripts or media.
The saved progress lasts until you close the tab or clear site data; browser session restoration may keep it longer. Hosting request records follow the retention periods in the site privacy policy.
No sharing, email verification or account feature is active in the Decision Lab. Apart from the hosting request records described above, the story creates no attendance or participation records.
Vercel hosts the story and delivers its pages, as described in the site privacy policy. Apart from the site-wide error reports described there, no other provider receives data from the story.
The controller is Ada Studio, identified in the site legal notice. Because your choices stay in your browser, Ada Studio holds no record of them. For hosting records, you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction, or object to their processing, as the applicable law allows; write to contact@adastudio.ch. The site privacy policy describes these rights and how to contact a supervisory authority.
