Scenario sources and scope

The Monday queue is a fictional training scenario. The sources below show which Swiss and EU data protection and AI rules its situations touch. They are general information, not legal advice; a qualified professional should confirm how they apply to your organisation. Sales and consumer law on refunds for damaged goods and US law are outside scope.

European Union · Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), Article 50(1)

Providers must design AI systems that interact directly with people so that those people are informed they are dealing with an AI system, unless this is obvious in the context. In this story the AI answers routine order questions directly on some routes, so this duty may apply there. A qualified professional should confirm who the provider is and how the duty applies.
